Tricia Porter is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a background in cardiology, primary care, and alternative/Eastern medicine. Her integrative approach blends the structure of traditional Western medicine with the root-cause focus of alternative medicine—prioritizing sustainable lifestyle changes to improve hormonal health, weight management, and overall wellness.

Tricia began her nursing career after graduating from Our Lady of the Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts, in 1995. She spent many years working in cardiology, where she developed a strong foundation in chronic disease management and preventive care. This experience ignited her passion for helping patients improve their well-being through nutrition, movement, and healthy and sustainable lifestyle changes.

In 2014, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester and became a family nurse practitioner. Since then, she has provided care in both primary care and alternative medicine settings, always emphasizing the importance of treating the whole person—not just the symptoms.

In 2025, Tricia founded Optimal You Today, a wellness-based private practice focused on helping women and men optimize their hormones, achieve sustainable weight loss, and reconnect with a healthier, more youthful version of themselves.
